Companies with potentially explosive atmospheres are legally
required under the Dutch Working Conditions Act (Arbowet) to ensure
explosion safety. For businesses within the European Union, this
means they must comply with ATEX 153 legislation. All employees who
work in or around areas with explosion risks must be aware of these
hazards and understand the specific regulations that apply in such
environments.
ATEX Awareness (Ex 000) is a short introductory training course for
employees who do not work daily with explosion hazards, but who
must still be aware of the risks and their responsibilities. The
course is fully online and highly flexible—you can start whenever
you want and learn at your own pace.

After completing this online training, you meet the legal requirements of both the Dutch Working Conditions Act and ATEX 153. You will also comply with the international learning objectives and assessment criteria of IECEx 05 Unit Ex 000. The ATEX courses include all relevant national, European (ATEX) and international (IEC) standards and regulations.
